Thursdays with mom

Today we inaugurate a section, both on Facebook and on Instagram, and we have called it “Thursdays with Mom” because it will be this day, starting today every week, that our mother poses with a style in any corner of the city. Sometimes we will choose the place because of what it means, other times because it will host an interesting activity, also because we want to create some synergy between companies or, simply, because we like it, without further ado, or it "matches" with the chosen outfit.
But the frame of our snapshots will only be a carefully studied complement to reinforce the image of our true protagonist: Nini. She is 78 years old, she does not leave the house without putting on an eye, she is conceited, no, the following, she overflows with vitality and energy, she loves to be the center of attention, she does not know what complexes are and she dares to do everything. In short, we have the perfect senior “influencer” at home and we have set ourselves a goal: from here to Hollywood. We inaugurate the inn with a luxury setting: the Fontán market. Luxury because it is an emblematic building of the city that is celebrating its 25th anniversary and because it is where we shop every day. In addition, between today and Sunday, it celebrates the “Alimentarte” gastronomic days, with background music, talks, cooking workshops and performances, and we highly recommend a walk through this space. We are getting older and, finally, advertising and marketing are beginning to make room in their campaigns for a very high percentage of the population that is already over 60. It is ridiculous to rack one's brain trying to capture young people when the world ages. According to the UN, and as revealed by an article in S moda El País, currently in Europe the 30% of the population is between 50 and 80 years old and will soon be 50%. The same report assures that in the United States, the driving force of consumption is women between 55 and 65 years old and something similar happens in Spain. Faced with adolescent or young models with similar and “perfect” beauty standards, a current is strongly born: real women, with wrinkles that tell their story or hard-earned gray hair. Women whose tastes don't get older and wear whatever they want. Having style, wearing trends, mixing colors, daring with impossible combinations and influencing others does not have to be synonymous with being young and beautiful. And we are going to show you. We do not know if our mother will reach the figures mentioned above but it is not our goal either. Yes, it is showing that fashion, style, enthusiasm and coquetry have no age and that Nini has greatly influenced us and we feel very proud of her. Furthermore, this new section, yours, has made you very excited and we love to see it and feel excited.
