To tell our stories, so that all those sexist experiences that almost all women have suffered in one way or another, see the light, so that our daughters are reflected in us and dare to take part, to cut corners, to fight to be valued for their worth, regardless of their gender. So that sexist jokes, out-of-place comments in the Goya broadcast, ridiculous salaries, work overload and inequality are eradicated.<\/p>\n<p>But today we will not go to any of the rallies for the same reason that we have not met with our friends or family for a long time. Today we will continue to isolate ourselves in our bubble to protect our mother, a fighter and worker if there is one, and we will continue with our normal lives. Me re\u00ed. \u00abTienes raz\u00f3n, yo estoy igual\u00bb. Me fij\u00e9 en la gente que esperaba cola en Correos. Cuatro mujeres y un hombre. Pens\u00e9 si trabajar\u00edan en casa o fuera, si cobrar\u00edan lo mismo que un hombre, c\u00f3mo tendr\u00edan el resto del d\u00eda&#8230; Sal\u00ed de Correos feliz, quedaban 20 minutos para abrir la tienda y tendr\u00eda tiempo (tener tiempo, \u00a1qu\u00e9 lujo!) para tomar un caf\u00e9 y echar un vistazo al peri\u00f3dico. Por el camino, muchas mujeres. Pase por delante de La Cester\u00eda y vi a Cristina, su due\u00f1a, sacando algunos art\u00edculos a la puerta de su negocio. \u00a1A ver c\u00f3mo le va el d\u00eda! \u00daltimamente pinta de mal&#8230; Me sent\u00e9 en una terraza junto al bulevar de las flores. Pas\u00f3 Cruz, la due\u00f1a de By Capella. \u00ab\u00bfVas para all\u00e1?\u00bb, le pregunt\u00e9. \u00abS\u00ed, que tengo cosas que hacer\u00bb. \u00abVoy contigo, que ya es casi la hora de abrir\u00bb. La felicit\u00e9. \u00abOstras, ni me acordaba\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>That&#039;s how it is. Sometimes March 8 goes unnoticed until the Telediario or the current newspaper reminds us of it, those media that are champions of equality and are up to their eyebrows in sexist behavior (and I speak with knowledge of the facts). But for women, March 8 is every day. For Rosa, for Cristina, for the Post Office official, for Cruz, for my mother, for my daughter, for my sister, for me. For all of us. Every day we have to be aware that we have the same rights (and the same obligations) as men. Therefore, perhaps this year we will not go out en masse on the streets out of responsibility and social awareness, but we will all wear purple in our hearts and we will continue educating our children, working and fighting for equality.
